A hot, August summer afternoon in 2011, my five year old niece, Nassia, was enjoying drawing, and when she had created many drawings, she thought that it would be a great idea if she could sell some of them in the neighborhood and earn some money. So, she took some of her drawings, and there she was, a five year old child knocking on the doors of the neighbors asking them to buy her creations. Some of the doors she knocked on were excited with the idea of buying from her and so they bought one or two drawings, while others replied that they already had drawings from their own children or grandchildren and they thanked her for coming to them. In the meantime, her mum was unaware of the fact that Nassia had decided to leave the house to go on a selling adventure. By the time her mum had realized that she was missing from the house, Nassia had already successfully accumulated 7 euro!

Soooo what I learnt from this story was of great support to me once I had left my banking job and had leapt into my new career:

• We have a vast amount of creative energy within us, and when activated and brought to the surface, it brings along new possibilities, opportunities and new ideas!
• We have talents and abilities, which when noted and utilized, bring nourishment and abundance to our life!
• Once we take the step towards the success we seek, there is only a WIN situation to be met.
• The No’s are just part of the process. The No’s teach us and make us stronger.
• It doesn’t matter where we are, how old we are, in which geographical area we find ourselves in, there are always ways to achieve our success.
• No one can stop us but our selves! Stop making excuses!
