- Healthy diet – You may ask yourself how what we eat can affect the process of mediation? Well it is said that “We are what we eat!” and this is so very true. The fact is, food affects our mood and energy levels, which subsequently affects our ability to handle challenges, and to take action towards our goals, and much more.
- Snack on natural food - Studies have shown that consuming the right amount of fresh fruits and vegetables results in a healthier mind, with lower stress and anxiety levels. It has been shown that energizing foods also provide better resistance towards unbeneficial thoughts.
- Water – Drink plenty of fluids, and in particular water, as this will help the body to stay healthy and will also revitalize it.
- Sleep Well – Your body and mind need adequate sleep. It is said that it is essential to have between 6 and 8 hours of sleep during the night. Lack of sleep may lead to increased levels of stress and long term depression.
- Regular Showers – Studies have shown that keeping our body clean, by taking regular showers – particularly during challenging periods - helps the mind to stay calm, positively active, and focused. This is a fast and effective way to feel refreshed and renewed, both mentally and physically, and it also allows you to make progress and to take sound decisions.
- Treat yourself – Either during challenging or calm periods, treat and pamper yourself with a luxury spa or massage. A relaxed mind and body will find solutions and will make decisions more easily.
- Regular exercise - A regular exercise routine will assist in releasing unbeneficial energy and will turn your metabolism into high gear. This does not necessarily mean spending long hours at the gym, it could simply be a half hour walk per day at a local park. In this way you will always feel invigorated and energized to deal with challenges, and to be in high gear motivation.
